Comment Period Open Until Feb. 19: Thyroid/Parathyroid FPD Exam Blueprint

The American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS) and the American Board of Surgery (ABS) recently undertook efforts to create a test blueprint for a new Focused Practice Designation in Adult Complex Thyroid/Parathyroid Surgery. A test blueprint is a document that defines the content to be tested on an exam, and it is important to periodically review and revise these documents so they accurately reflect current practice and training.

To ensure that this test blueprint aligns with the knowledge and skills required of practicing thyroid and parathyroid surgeons, ABOHNS invites all diplomates to review and provide feedback to help inform further revisions to the blueprint.
