ABOHNS
The nominations portal is now open for the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS) Task Force for New Materials and Oral Examiner positions. The portal will be open until noon CT on Wednesday, July 6.
Members of the Task Force serve a vital role in creating content for the Otolaryngology Training Exam, Written Qualifying Exam, and CertLink. Oral Examiners play a key role in the administration of the Oral Certifying Exam.
Please log in to your physician portal to make your nomination(s). Any board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon can nominate a Diplomate for Task Force service and the ABOHNS also accepts self-nominations. If you wish to nominate an individual(s) for Oral Examiner service, you will need to contact an Exam Council Member, Director, or Senior Counselor who can do this on your behalf. A list of these individuals can be found on the ABOHNS website (www.abohns.org). Nominees for Oral Examiner must be at least 5 years from completion of residency to be considered.
If you have questions or need assistance accessing the portal, call 713-850-0399 or email Aliyah Forte at abf@abohns.org.
